Carla Lopez del Puerto is an Assistant Professor in Construction Management at Colorado State University. She joined AACE and became an Interim Cost Consultant (ICC) (now known as CCT) in 2003, and a Certified Cost Consultant in 2006. Prior to joining academia, she worked at the Benham Companies as a cost estimator for three years. She received her BS in Architecture from Universidad de las Americas, her MS in Construction Administration from The University of Oklahoma and her Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from St. Louis University.
