The Technical, Education, and Certification boards develop programs, products, and services for their respective areas of responsibility and recommend policies to the Board of Directors. Each of the T/E/C Boards has a representative from their respective board that serves as a member of the Certification Examination Advisory Group (CEAG) who must be
AACE certified. The chairs of each of the T/E/C Boards are appointed by the Board of Directors. The terms of the chairs and members of the T/E/C Boards run concurrent with the term of the President.
A member from each associate board is elected to serve as a
Vice-President on the association's Board of Directors to represent the
program goals, plans, and activities of their respective boards; their
terms of service are staggered to ensure an effective Board transition.
Each serves a two year term.
