AACE International has extended the early registration deadline to October 15 for its first International Total Cost Management Conference scheduled for November 14-15, 2012 in Dubai, UAE. For details about the program, click here
The event will be the first educational conference sponsored by AACE International outside of North America and represents one of the several initiatives AACE International committed to as part of its strategic plan to expand benefits and services worldwide. Currently, 27% of AACE members reside outside of North America and UAE is currently the third largest AACE International section with over 350 members.
The two-day event will feature a keynote general session featuring Richard Faris of Oracle’s Primavera Global Business Unit, followed by two tracks of technical presentations based upon peer-reviewed papers submitted from 13 different countries. Presentation topics range from presentations on “A Framework for Life Cycle Cost Analysis of Sustainability Features in Buildings” to “Project Controls Support to Project Management and Strategic Decision Making. AACE International President Marlene Hyde CCE EVP will present an update on AACE International strategies at lunch on November 15.
Registration for the meeting prior to October 15 is $650 for members, $750 for non-members. The registration fee includes access to the two-days of educational sessions, two evening networking receptions, two breakfasts, two lunches plus coffee breaks and digital copies of all presentations and papers. The base hotel room rate at the Hyatt Regency Dubai will be $215 (US) per night. Online registration for the meeting is open. All paid registrants will receive a special commemorative edition of TCM Framework: An Integrated Approach to Portfolio, Program and Project Management. The special commemorative edition is a gift to attendees from John K. Hollmann PE CCE, owner of Validation Estimating and editor of the highly respected publication, in recognition of the first AACE International educational meeting held outside of North America.
