AACE International Announces Changes in Advertising and Exhibit Sales

AACE Headquarters: One-Stop Shopping for Advertising, Exhibit, Sponsorship, and Employment Placement Sales and Marketing
Effective June 1, 2012, AACE International will consolidate all advertising, exhibit, sponsorship and employment placement sales and marketing functions into a single operation from its headquarters in Morgantown, WV. All of the sales functions will be coordinated by Garth Leech, Business Development Coordinator. Among the current advertising opportunities are the Cost Engineering journal, Source magazine, monthly e-newsletters, and banner advertisements on the popular AACE International website. Exhibit and sponsorship activities include such events as the Annual Meeting, International Total Cost Management Conference, and the Leadership Conference. The consolidation will allow a “one-stop” shopping experience for a business wishing to market to total cost management practitioners.
“This represents part of the evolution of AACE International as a professional association,” commented Dennis Stork, AACE International Executive Director. “In seven years, our membership has grown 55%, we have added new meetings, created sophisticated virtual publications and seen significant expansion in interest in AACE International’s mission as the authority for total cost management. This growth has provided us with the economy of scale to consolidate these sales and marketing resources at our headquarters.”
Stork noted that AACE International had been pleased with their 15 year relationship with Network Media Partners, an advertising/exhibit sales organization specializing in the not-for-profit sector. “Network Media has been an exceptional partner as the Association transitioned to a point where it made more strategic sense to bring this function in-house. We appreciate their professionalism and cooperation in making this transition as smooth as possible for our advertisers/exhibitors,” Stork noted. Ultimately, Stork stated, the Association concluded its advertisers and exhibitors would benefit from having a fulltime AACE International staff person devoted solely to the Association. AACE International has announced that 2013 base advertising and exhibit rates would remain the same.
