Voting in the annual online election opened Feb. 1 and closed March 15. Votenet, a Washington, DC firm, provides the independent voting software. The AACE International Board of Directors will formally accept the tellers report and certify the election results at their April spring board meeting in Washington, DC. Traditionally, the newly elected board members will be invited as guests to attend the spring board meeting. The new board members will take their oaths of office at the AACE Annual Meeting in July in San Antonio, Texas.
The board seats are organized on staggered terms with half the positions up for election each year and those newly elected serving two year terms. The President-Elect advances the second year to the office of President, and then serves a third year as Past President before leaving the board.
