AACE International’s Website Portal Will Be Down
April 5 through April 9, 2012

March 19, 2012

AACE International will be converting to a new association management software, NetForum, on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at approximately 8:00 pm EDT through Monday, April 9, 2012. As a result, the Association will not be able to process financial transactions or fulfill orders during that time period.

While we apologize for the inconvenience to our members and customers, we are excited about the more robust association management system that we will have to improve the membership experience. The system we have selected, Avectra’s NetForum, is considered to be an association community’s leader in providing a browser-based software solution. Once fully functional, the new software will allow AACE International to provide a more personalized experience for members while being able to tap into the “best practices” of more than a 1,000 Avectra users in the association community.

When members come to the AACE International website after the conversion, they will find a new look and “feel” to the members-only and portal sections of the website. As part of the transition to the new system, members will be required to sign on using login credentials sent to them via email to default email address and then to reset the password based upon their individual preferences. Once that has been entered, individuals will have access to their personal profile. One of the benefits of the new system is a single sign in capability that will allow members access to all AACE International resources without having to sign in a second time.

According to Executive Director Dennis Stork, the Association will be preparing a series of online tutorials to explain how to gain maximum benefit of the new software. “In the initial phase of the changeover to the new system, we have not introduced all the “bells and whistles” that the new system offers until we have assured ourselves that the primary functions are working properly. Over the course of the next year, we will be systematically expanding the functions and services available so that members and staff are not overwhelmed by the changes.”

Stork noted that the AACE International offices will have reduced hours on March 29-30 to allow for the final onsite training by Avectra instructors and consultants.
