is a reminder that the AACE International office and our website will be closed during regular office hours on July 14-15, 2011, to facilitate our move to new leased office space in Morgantown, WV. Tentative plans call for the new office operation and website to be fully operational by July 18.
Please note that any online transactions completed after midnight EDT on
July 12, 2011 will not be completed until after the move. The new office address is 1265 Suncrest Towne Centre Drive, Morgantown, WV 26505-1876. All telephone numbers and email addresses will remain the same. The Association has been at its current 209 Prairie Avenue location since 1989.
"We apologize for the short-term inconvenience that the move will create for our members, but we believe the long term benefits for the Association will more than compensate for the brief interruption in services," commented Dennis Stork, Executive Director. Stork noted that while the new location office space will be only slightly larger than the existing space, the leased space in a new office building in a major retail/commercial complex in Morgantown, WV, will be configured specifically for AACE International’s needs and thus provide improved efficiencies over the existing space. As a result of the soft commercial real estate marketplace, the lease for the new space will be only slightly more than if the Association renewed in its existing headquarters space. The new office space also solves chronic parking issues and is located within a short walking distance of a Hilton Hotel that will accommodate volunteer leaders visiting the office for committee meetings. Offsite storage has been secured at a location within a half-mile of the new offices.
