AACE International reported a 9.7% increase in membership compared to the same time last year, according to Executive Director Dennis G. Stork. The Association membership stood at 7,581 on May 31, 2011, compared to 6,920 in 2010. The increase in membership is attributed to a variety of factors, including a significant growth in international section activity, increased interest in AACE International education and certification programs and additional membership recruitment resources, including an online membership recruitment presentation and the 2011 Member-Get-A-Member campaign.
Stork reminded members that individuals who sponsor a new member will be placed in a quarterly drawing for $250 in ACCE International logo items from Lands End as well as a drawing at the end of the year for a free trip to the 2012 Annual Meeting in San Antonio, TX.
