10.3% Membership Gain Through First Quarter

April 4, 2011

AACE International’s membership increased by 10.3% in the first quarter of 2011, according to Sharon Hardman, administrator of section/members services. The Association’s membership is now at an all time high, an indicator that the organization’s first dues increase in almost a decade did not damper interest in AACE International membership.

While difficult to pinpoint the surge in membership growth, Hardman pointed out the major re-designs of the AACE International website and Cost Engineering journal, the introduction of an online membership recruitment presentation, increased enthusiasm among section leaders and company sponsors and the promotion of the 2011 Member-Get-A-Member campaign as factors contributing to the double digit increase.
