A new section in Oman was approved at the January meeting of the AACE Board of Directors.
Encompassing the entire country of Oman, some of the goals of the section will be to:
hold meetings for the presentation and discussion of technical papers
promote educational programs, including workshops, discussion groups and lecture courses to cover various phases of cost engineering
assist in the dissemination of cost data, promotion of standardized terminology and development of standard methods
provide for mutual exchange of experience and knowledge in the field of cost engineering
