October 15, 2010, is the final deadline for all U.S. sections to file the 990-N or 990-EZ. This is a one time special filing extension. Sections that fail to file by October 15 risk losing their tax exempt status. Any Nonprofit Organization that has gross receipts less than $25,000 can file the 990-N online.
