Date of Death: September 18, 2010

Services: Funeral Service will be held at Thornhill United Church, 25 Elgin St. Thornhill on Friday, September 24, 2010 at 11 a.m.

Visitation: Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. On 18 September, 2010, Art passed away peacefully at Cummer Lodge, Toronto, at the age of 95 years.

He is greatly missed by the love of his life of 65 years, Joanne (Roblin); also by his daughter Janet, sons Gordon and Doug, daughter-in-law Michele and six grandchildren: Phil (wife Caroline), Krista, Nick, Briana, Celine (partner Danilo) and Doug; sister-in-law Jeanne (Buckman) Miller; nephew Bill Miller Jr. and his wife Diane (Tatnan); dear cousin Lois Skinner (Price); and by all the Roblin families. Art (BASc University of Toronto 1936) enjoyed a long and successful career as a cost engineer with Canadian Industries Limited and was honoured by his peers as a co-founder of the American Association of Cost Engineers. Upon his retirement, he devoted many stimulating years to travel and volunteer work with Canadian Executive Services Overseas. Over the years, his many friends have enjoyed his humour, his good spirits and his moral integrity.
