AACE announces the introduction of The Section Connection, a bimonthly electronic newsletter that will be sent to all section officers, Board, and others in leadership position within the organization to familiarize them with important information regarding association leadership and organizational issues.

Section Connection topics will include administrative issues such as how to run membership reports, membership recruiting ideas, best practices among sections in conducting meetings as well as reminders about deadlines and upcoming events impacting sections.

The e-newsletter will be distributed using ExactTarget, AACE’s mass email program. The publication will provide easy links to the listing of regional directors, staff, online section resources and other resources on the website frequently used by the section leaders. The newsletter enable sections to take advantage of existing AACE resources, facilitate communications, and allow AACE to survey section leaders on issues that may not be of interest to the general membership.

The first release of the Section Connection is planned for the first full week in September 2010.
