Who is AACE International?

AACE International is a 501(c)(3) non-profit professional association. Since 1956, AACE International has provided its members with the resources they need to enhance their performance and ensure continued growth and success. With over 7,500 members world-wide, AACE International serves cost management professionals in the disciplines of project management, estimating, risk management, and claims. AACE International has members in 87 countries and cover 80 local sections.

AACE has been certifying individuals since 1976. AACE offers the following certifications: Certified Cost Consultant™ (CCC™) / Certified Cost Engineer™ (CCE™), Certified Cost Technician™ (CCT™), Certified Estimating Professional™ (CEP™), Certified Forensic Claims Consultant™ (CFCC™), Earned Value Professional™ (EVP™), and Planning & Scheduling Professional™ (PSP™). AACE’s CCC/CCE, CCT, EVP, and PSP certifications are independently accredited by the Council of Engineering and Scientific Specialty Boards.

What is the AACE COMP Program?

AACE's COMP Program is a package of benefits designed to encourage companies to develop the skills of their cost and management employees through AACE membership. AACE's COMP consists of eight paid employee memberships with the option of adding additional memberships at US$107 for each additional member.

AACE COMP Benefits

  • A bimonthly copy of Cost Engineering journal will be provided to each of your 8 (minimum) sponsored employees (over $600.00 in savings!). Cost Engineering journal, AACE International's official bimonthly publication to members is an ongoing communication link for the latest technical and non-technical information, AACE news and events.
  • One local section fee is included per core group (8) member (approx. a $120.00 value!). AACE's Section Meetings are an excellent means for your employees to network with other experienced professionals and hone their own leadership skills. Offering presentations from local industry speakers, facility tours, and social events, Section meetings are an important way to expand contacts and gain up-to-date information.
  • Your corporate web link will be placed on the AACE website (over 850,000 hits per month).
  • An annual listing in Cost Engineering journal, the leading industry periodical.
  • Listing in the Annual Meeting Program
  • A US$100 credit towards AACE's Career Center employment advertisement
  • The company will receive an engraved plaque recognizing its COMP.

How Do You Become a COMP Member?

Follow these 4 Simple Steps!

Step 1:

Choose your "COMP contact". Please note: This person will be responsible for your designated list of COMP members. The COMP contact must also specify if he/she is to be included on the COMP membership list.

Step 2:

Complete the Application Form. One billing address will be identified by your COMP contact.

Step 3:

Enclose the payment for your COMP:

  • COMP Dues = US$1,144.00 (includes 8 CSP members)
  • Each additional member (more than 8) = US$107.00/member
  • Application Fee = US$95.00 (one time only)

Step 4:

Send the completed application with payment to AACE International Headquarters. Allow 10 working days for return notification. Your plaque will follow in approximately 10 weeks.
