concepts through to leading edge processes. However, all that will be
presented is founded on practical processes that have been used and are proven
to deliver improved business outcomes. The course thoroughly explores the area
of Project Risk Management including the latest additions to the Project
Management Body of Knowledge 3rd Edition. Participants will learn to maximize
the results of positive project events, and minimize the consequences of

DAY 1 Risk Management concepts, reasons/benefits of undertaking risk management, development of a context to suit your environment.
DAY 2 Qualitative Risk Management. Using the process for your environment including objectives, risk identification and analysis, treatments and reporting. This session will also introduce you to RiskOrganizer.
DAY 3 Qualitative Risk Management. How to quantify risks in particular those that affect your time schedule. Participants are encouraged to bring in a schedule for their project so that this can be used for the analysis. This session will introduce you to PertMaster.
DAY 4 Qualitative Risk Management. How to quantify risks in particular those that affect your cost estimate. Participants are encouraged to bring in an estimate for their project so that this can be used for the analysis.
DAY 5 Integrating Qualitative and Quantitative Risk Analysis. How to bring the two processes together so they are integrated. This session will introduce you to RiskIntegrator. The session will also consider where the concepts raised during the course can be applied in other project areas to better manage risks.
