AACE International’s Certification Program reports an 11% increase in actively certified individuals for 2012, compared to 2011 (see image below).

1,294 individuals applied for certification examination in 2012, with 879 candidates completing their exam by December 31, 2012 (67%). With the transition to computer based testing (CBT), candidates are given the flexibility to schedule their exam at their convenience.
The breakdown of each individual exam is listed in the chart below, along with the number of candidates who were successful in achieving their credentials.
The Certification Board is pleased to experience continued growth and is looking forward to greater achievement in 2013.
