AACE International will be offering its Earned
Value Professional (EVP) specialty certification examination in
conjunction with the 24th Annual PMI College of Performance Management
(CPM) conference which will be held May 14-16, 2008, at the Hilton
Clearwater Beach Resort in Clearwater Beach, FL, to registered attendees
only.
AACE’s EVP examination will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2008, from 8:00
AM to 4:45 PM and is open only to individuals who will be attending the
PMI-CPM conference. AACE is pleased to accept the invitation of the
Board of Directors of PMI-CPM to offer this opportunity to the PMI-CPM

To qualify for the EVP certification an individual must demonstrate
eight full years of professional planning and scheduling experience, up
to four years experience may be substituted by a college/university
degree. Following verification of experience and education, candidates
seeking EVP certification must sit for a seven hour, four part exam.
Candidates must pass this exam with a minimum score of seventy percent.
Candidates for the EVP certification need not be members of AACE
International.
Professionals interested in sitting for this exam must submit their
application and examination fee ($350 for AACE members and $500 for
nonmembers) to AACE no later than April 14, 2008. To qualify for the
early rates ($300 for AACE members and $450 for nonmembers),
applications must be received by April 1, 2008. Application forms and

A prestigious group of industry professionals developed this
professional certification program to provide a competency model for
practicing professional schedulers. The EVP certification program is
aimed at providing credentials for professional schedulers who operate
at an experienced level, and who are currently performing planning and
scheduling work. AACE’s EVP certification is independently accredited by
the Council of Engineering & Scientific Specialty Boards (CESB) and the
International Cost Engineering Council (ICEC).
The next EVP certification examination will be available to any
qualified individual globally through AACE International local sections
on June 14, 2008, and at AACE International’s 52nd Annual Meeting in
