AACE International’s local sections are an integral part of the annual scholarship competition. Once the deadline for application submittal is reached, each section receives from Headquarters the applications that are assigned to them. These assignments are made either because the student is actually studying in the section’s geographic area, or there is no section in the student’s area and his or her application is assigned to the closest section.
In addition, many sections choose to participate in the Matching Funds program, thus increasing the number of scholarships that can be awarded each year. |
