Outstanding Woman in Project Controls Award Recipient - Anna Tremblay
This award has been established through the Women in Project Controls Committee, via a donation by 2006-2008 AACE® Vice President-Finance Marlene M. Hyde CCC, to honor women who have overcome obstacles pursuing the career of project controls and who have made a significant contribution to the profession.

Any AACE® member may nominate a woman for this award. Nominations should be sent to AACE® Headquarters at info@aacei.org. Members of the Women in Project Controls Committee will evaluate, score the candidates, and select the winner. A member of the Women in Project Controls Committee will present the check and a plaque to the winner at the Annual Meeting each year.

Anna Tremblay
Having become a member of AACE® International in 1989, Anna has embraced her role of a volunteer at her Section (Chinook-Calgary). She served as an integral member of the Local Arrangements Committees for the 1996 (Vancouver) and 2000 (Calgary) Annual Meetings. Anna was the only woman on the board of Chinook-Calgary Section for many years. During her tenure with the Section, Anna encouraged numerous women to join AACE. Regarding Anna’s involvement in AACE®, her fellow Section members have said, “She has been and continues to be an excellent role model. Anna is an important reason why our Section has received the Outstanding Section Award on a continuous basis for most of the time she has served on our Section board.”
