  11. Where do I send my eligibility verification documents?

  12. What is acceptable for verification?
    • Unfortunately, we cannot accept a resume, an application, or employment contracts for verification as these items are only what you claim; what you claim has to be verified. To verify a degree, we will accept a copy of your diploma or transcripts (scan a copy and send as an attachment in an email). Verification of work can simply be a short paragraph from your supervisor stating how long you have been employed and a brief description of your duties. If you are unable to contact a previous employer, we will accept a statement from your current employer verifying your previous experience. If you are self-employed, you can write a short paragraph explaining your work situation and then have the signature notarized.

  13. Is there a template for the verification letter for my employer?
    • The letter must be on letterhead, include your name, how long you have been employed, a brief description of your duties, signature and printed name and title of your supervisor. The information can be submitted electronically via email attachment.

  14. Why did I get a request for verification when Iíve already sat for an exam?
    • If the request was included in an examination registration email confirmation for a resit, chances are you will not have to resubmit your eligibility verification documentation. The email confirmation is a general template sent to confirm all certification registrations. If you are in doubt, simply email certificationsubmittals@aacei.org to confirm.

  15. Why am I asked to submit eligibility verification documentation when Iíve already submitted previously?
    • Chances are your file may be older than 2010, and your documentation could not be located. With various personnel transitions, relocation, and record growth, some data may have been misplaced or lost. Please cooperate with our efforts to ensure every record is accurate and complete.

  16. Can I send my eligibility requirement documents for review and approval before registering for an exam?
    • No. Our services, such as professional review of an application and eligibility verification documentation are included in your exam fees. Therefore, we do not review or approve eligibility without an official application and full payment.

  17. Where do I upload my verification requirement documents?

  18. Do I have to submit a hard copy of eligibility requirement documents after submitting electronically?
